Financial Advisor
I’ve always believed that money is best viewed as a tool — one that can help individuals and families live the lives they truly want. As both a practicing physician and a financial advisor, I’ve seen how intentional planning can create confidence and freedom for people at every stage of life. My goal is to help clients make financial decisions that align with their values and bring clarity to their long-term goals.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and my medical degree from the University of Southern California. After completing my postgraduate medical training at the University of Utah and the University of California, Irvine, I have practiced maternal-fetal medicine for almost 25 years. Along the way, I developed a deep interest in personal finance and investing. As a successful investor myself, I found real satisfaction in the process of planning for the future — and that passion eventually led me to financial planning.
Before joining TrueNorth Wealth in 2020, I served for 13 years on the Idaho Medical Association Financial Services Advisory Board, including five years as its Chair. During that time, I saw firsthand the value of helping physicians and their families achieve financial security and peace of mind. Today, many of my clients are physicians as well, and I continue to find joy in helping them build purposeful financial plans. My favorite part of this work is the relationships that develop with my clients and their families over time. I deeply appreciate the trust they place in me as I help them work toward living their best lives.
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and hold the Tax Planning Certified Professional® designation through The American College of Financial Services. In addition, I hold both the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ and Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™ designations from the College for Financial Planning.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and being active in my church. I’m happily married, and my wife and I love spending time with our four children whenever we can.
